Shot from Breakfast At Tiffany’s, “Moon River” scene
This animation was inspired by the “Moon River” scene of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. I started with a still of the red typewriter, edited it heavily in Photoshop, then re-created the action of the typebars in Maya. Final animation was all done in After Effects.
I built a 3D model in Maya, using source images like these:
